Stonewash bed linen is made slightly differently from the rest of our collections. While most fabrics are woven, dyed and treated by the roll, the Evie collection is more unique. Rather than stone washing the fabric first, the sheets, quilt covers, pillowcases and coverlets are all manufactured first. Then, they’re pre-washed in their final form. This process is more effective in achieving the charming look and feel of stonewashed cotton.
Along with achieving the best possible look and feel throughout the process, it also helps to strengthen and soften the cotton further. The final result is beautiful, gently aged bedding with a classic aesthetic that’ll enhance the style of your room while also giving you a restful, luxurious night’s sleep.
While the crispness of our Halo organic collection and the textural look and feel of European linen are both equally stunning and unique, our Evie range blends many of the best features of both. If you love the appearance and breathable quality of cotton but want something a little more ruffled, soft and textural, our stonewashed collection is the perfect alternative.
It’s delightfully light and airy, like you’d expect from cotton, while delivering that more relaxed aesthetic that makes linen such a well-loved bedding option. Soft both in colour and in texture, find the perfect bedding for your home in our collection now.
Stonewashed sheets offer a myriad of benefits, the first of which is that they’re exceptionally soft. The stone-washing process smooths the fibres out in the same way that your regular cotton sheets get softer with time, making for beautifully relaxed fabric even when they’re brand new. Along with the hand feel, the appearance of stonewashed cotton sheets is truly unique and makes for a relaxed look with more muted colours.
Along with the rest of our bedding, our stonewashed collection is exclusively made from natural fibres. This makes it a more breathable, comfortable option and is also the perfect choice for people with more sensitive skin.
This stunning bedding doesn’t just deliver an opulent look and feel, our Evie collection is crafted with quality and sustainability in mind. The fibres are woven from 100% GOTS certified Organic cotton - CU1148326, chosen specifically for its low-impact growing process and certified MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX.
We recommend washing your stonewashed bedding, including all sheets, pillowcases and quilt covers, on a cool cycle with a gentle detergent. Avoid bleach, as it can impact the integrity of the fabric and shorten its lifespan. Once your wash cycle is complete, immediately hang your bedding outside on the line in a shady area.
While stonewashed sheets are naturally more muted in colour, excess sunlight can fade them more over time. If you need to put your bedding in the dryer, opt for a lower temperature. After it’s dry, you can either iron it or fold it up and store it in a cool, dry place like a linen cupboard.
When you’ve washed your stonewashed bedding, you can either iron it to remove any minor creases or fold it as is. Due to its softness, stonewashed bedding tends not to crease as much as regular cotton though it does have a delightfully lived in, ruffled look.
Yes, you can purchase stonewashed bedding in sets. You can get a sheet set, which comes with a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and two pillowcases. If you’re ordering a quilt cover, you can purchase the matching pillowcases separately.
